Ram 1500 is all about making things possible. It's no surprise why it's the most awarded light duty truck in America1. More than capable, Ram 1500 is also extremely versatile. You’ve got choices in power, including an available 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine with 395 horsepower and 12,750-pound towing capacity2. There’s an available multifunction tailgate, an available Head-Up Display that’s reconfigurable to your needs, plus an available, customizable 12-inch touchscreen with pinch-and-zoom technology and physical controls for key features. With all that and more, Ram is ready to take on whatever you need to live forward.
Advanced driving technology features help keep you safe and secure while you’re moving down the road. Electronic Stability Control3 uses the brakes engine to help maintain control, while Electronic Roll Mitigation3 helps to keep all four wheels securely on the ground.
Available multifunction 60/40 split swing-away tailgate doors.

Aaron "Wheelz" Fotheringham in a helmet.
Growing up, I was always a huge fan of watching X-Games, and I just really idolized pro BMXers and, you know, the pro skaters, and I just thought: "Man, like, that looks like a lot of fun."
Fotheringham rotates his wheelchair 180 degrees in the air at the end of a ramp
For me, my spina bifida never really felt like it was holding me back because, you know, it's something I've always dealt with.
I honestly feel super, super blessed to have a wheelchair -- and not just the chair itself, but, like, the opportunities that have come along with it.
A pickup equipped with a crane holds a wheelchair in the air. Fotheringham uses a device inside the cab to control the crane, as he sits outside the driver's seat.
Being able to go to the park and being able to try new things, I'd say that's kind of what keeps me motivated.
So, I actually had the opportunity to be able to name the sport, and it's called "WCMX," wheelchair motocross. So, it's BMX but with a wheelchair and, you know, cruising around parks and doing tricks.

He pushes himself back into his chair after hitting a wall
To me, living forward is getting back up and trying again. Having the right vehicle for me is a huge part of what I do. It's a huge part of my lifestyle to be able to, you know, have a truck that takes me where I need to get, and I'm super excited to be able to team up with a company that enables me to be able to drive the truck of my dreams and makes life easier.
